Polish your Acting Chops with this Meisner Intensive

I’m so excited to share a new opportunity to work your craft using the wonderful Meisner acting methods. As a certified Meisner instructor, I will teach you the following skills:

1. How to be fully present in the moment on stage or on a film set. You will be so “present” that you can fully commit to the character in the scene, without a thought of who is watching or what is being filmed. This frees you up to do your best work as an actor.

2. How to tap your inner emotional and intellectual resources so that you fully transform into the character and truly believe in the given circumstances of the scene.

3. How to quickly memorize your lines so that they feel like your own words. You will also connect emotionally to the text in a way that feels organic, powerful, and transformational.

4. How to connect to your partner in an on-stage or on-film relationship that feels real and immediate.

5. How to prepare for auditions in a way that gives you confidence and power in your presentations.

We will do all of this in six 2-hour sessions, limited to no more than 10 students. You can count on personal attention, with one-on-one coaching and feedback during classes. All material (scenes and monologues) will be provided by me. Just show up and learn how to embody this powerful approach to acting!

All levels are welcome. No matter how much experience you have, you will be challenged in a nurturing and positive manner and emerge from the six weeks a better actor. Guaranteed.
